Beacon Hill is known as one of Boston's oldest neighborhoods and is bound by Beacon Street, Bowdoin Street, Cambridge Street and Storrow Drive.

Beacon Hill's land area is relitively small only slightly larger than Boston Commons and Boston Gardens combined. Nearly 10,000 people call Beacon Hill home because of its rich community life, and colonial Boston architecture. Its narrow gaslit streets, colorful doors and decorative iron work make Beacon Hill is one of Bostons most charming neighborhoods.

Charles Street, Beacon Hill's main thoroughfare, is lined with antique shops and award winning restaurants.

The flat of Beacon Hill was originally the Charles River. After being filled its was home to Blacksmiths, Shoemakers and stables. The properties have since been renovated into some fine residential homes.
